Good people lose too many evenings to paperwork, and I believe software should give those evenings back. These are the promises I intend to keep while doing it.
Honesty over hype.
We say what our software does and what it doesn't. If something is not ready, we tell you before you find out.
Respect for the people doing the hard work.
The person on site, in the heat, with a phone in one hand, is who we design for. Their time is not ours to waste.
Craft in every detail.
The small things are the work: a number that lines up, a button where your thumb expects it, a page that doesn't make you wait.
Small, and stubborn about quality.
We would rather do one thing well than ten things loudly. Staying small lets us keep caring about each detail.
